Rooftop Wedding at Morgan’s on Fulton | K&J 2022
When Kendall approached BW Studio + Events with her vision of a laid-back rooftop wedding with a casual cocktail vibe, we dove right in, fully embracing the essence of her dream. Chicago's very own Morgan's on Fulton emerged as the ideal canvas for this event, seamlessly coming together for Kendall and John's intimate gathering. Nestled in the heart of Fulton Market, this venue boasts a four-season retractable roof, a climate-controlled glass enclosure, an outdoor terrace, and private cabanas—a picturesque setting accommodating up to 250 guests (150 seated), though our soirée was intentionally more intimate.
Kendall and John commenced their day surrounded by their nearest and dearest at the Emily Hotel in Fulton Market, their sweet dog adding an extra touch of charm to the photoshoot. As the intimate crew traversed the neighborhood, capturing the distinctive essence of the growing Fulton Market, a light sprinkle graced the occasion—a serendipitous shower of good luck.
Opting for an intimate ceremony with a third of their guests, the couple seamlessly transitioned into a cocktail and bites reception for the remaining attendees. Blush Blooms and Co adorned high-top tables and a few select cabanas with bud vases filled with the bride's favorite flowers and delicate garlands of greenery. Toast and Jam DJ’s kept the party on their feet!
The interior bar and cocktail area were transformed into an engaging space, featuring a DIY photo booth complete with a customized neon sign showcasing the couple's name. Polaroids were collected in a journal serving as a unique guest book. On the flip side, a buffet featured an array of ever-changing culinary delights. The night concluded on a quintessentially Chicago note—with gourmet Chicago Dogs.
Outside, the greenhouse space and deck became a dynamic dance floor, complete with a DJ table and expansive lounge areas for guests to unwind between dance sessions. The evening unfolded as a truly spectacular celebration, a testament to Kendall and John's vision and the seamless execution by BW Studio + Events.
