Getting Ready in Style

The couple and their crew started the wedding day at Claridge House and Level Chicago hotels, setting the tone for a truly elegant affair. The men were all in stark black tuxes, and the ladies in soft champagne silk shift dresses. Once the wedding party was show-ready, they jumped straight into a series of photos around the Chicago city streets, showcasing the anticipation of the day.

The Ceremony: A Tale of Love and Florals

The couple’s ceremony unfolded on Artifact Events' south side second floor, with expansive windows providing gorgeous natural light. Towering floral arrangements framed the altar, creating a stunning backdrop for Miranda and Dan's vows. The intimate setting allowed the couple's words to take center stage. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room! The mixture of industrial aesthetics and soft floral design came together seamlessly.

Cocktail Hour in the Lounge

Following the ceremony, guests descended to the first-floor Lounge for a cocktail hour with live violin melodies. The space set the mood for conversations and drinks, creating a relaxed atmosphere before the grandeur of the evening. Immense vintage doors and artwork contrasted the industrial venue’s unique blend of urban and rustic design elements. Customized details from the couple could be seen at every turn from drink menus to cocktail napkins featuring their pup, Teddy!

Culinary Delights and Dance

The transition to the dining room was marked with a champagne pour and treats from Sweet Mandy B's and Do Rite Donuts. A truly remarkable hanging floral installation was poised above the couple’s sweetheart table to anchor the start of the dance floor. Each dining table had a unique combination of floral arrangements or candles. Dinner seamlessly turned into a lively dance floor, with Funktastic Productions providing live entertainment. Miranda and Dan showcased their dance-floor skills, a result of meticulous planning and lessons with Windy City Wedding Dance.

After-Party at Brownstone Tavern

An outfit change from the bride signaled the start of the real dance party!! And shortly after, a transition to the official after-party at Brownstone Tavern, extended the celebration well into the night.
