Tethered Events brings together two Chicago small businesses—Duneyrr Wine and Beer Company and BW Studio + Events—to create a hospitality-forward, design-driven experience. Together, our teams have built a space where celebrations can unfold across three distinct floors, each designed to support a different moment of your gathering.
Whether you’re planning a corporate event, private party, birthday, rehearsal dinner, wedding, or an elevated celebration with a little edge, Tethered Events at the Duneyrr Brewry is designed to feel personal, intentional, and easy to host.
Our Story
After years of building Duneyrr Wine and Beer Company, a South Loop brewery and winery known for its experimental fermentation, Tyler Davis expanded his creative vision into private and corporate events that feel immersive and memorable.
He partnered with Blair Woerfel of BW Studio + Events, a woman-owned planning company known for a client-first approach and a fresh, intuitive sense for event flow and guest experience. Blair now leads coordination at Tethered Events, bringing calm structure, hospitality, and detail management to every event hosted in the space.
Tyler brings creativity from the world of fermentation, while Blair adds years of event planning expertise. Together, they have created a Chicago event venue that blends atmosphere with seamless execution.
About the Founders
Blair Woerfel | founder, BW Studio + Events
Blair launched BW Studio + Events in 2015 and has built a small, talented planning team serving Chicago, the Midwest, and destinations beyond. She focuses on hospitality, event flow, and thoughtful details—skills she now brings to every Tethered Events experience at Duneyrr. If she’s not setting up a client’s event at the Brewery, you can find her nose deep in a new book or hanging out with her cats, Misha & Max!
Tyler Davis | founder, Duneyrr Wine and Beer Company
Tyler founded Duneyrr Wine and Beer Company, known for its creative, experimental approach to beer, wine, and co-fermentation. He’s always loved shaping experiences that engage the senses, and that same spirit guides the way Duneyrr now brings people together for memorable gatherings. When he’s not developing new blends or thinking through event details, he’s usually with his two favorite buddies, his pug Monty and his Frenchie Fezzik.

The Tasting Room (Floor One) | Up to 30 Guests
Bright, cozy, and lively, the Tasting Room is the heart of the brewery. It’s filled with plants, colorful artwork, and floor-to-ceiling views into the working brewery and winery—ideal for happy hours, casual gatherings, and team meet-ups.

The Antler Room has a modern rustic vibe—moody, warm, and easy to tailor to your event. Antler chandeliers and rich tones set the tone, while west-facing windows bring in soft daylight. This level works beautifully for cocktail hours, team off-sites, private dinners, birthday parties, and networking events.

The Loft is the largest and most open floor. With high ceilings, exposed brick, and a clean backdrop, it works like a blank canvas for weddings, presentations, receptions, and large dinners. A mobile bar, flexible furniture options, and lounge seating make it easy to build the vibe you want.
